This Sky Belongs to Us

A Film by written and directed by Katia Scarton-Kim (INred Production), Bacha Posh portrays the story of Nadim, an Afghan boy, who lives in the camp with his family and helps his father at the shop held in the center of the jungle. But Nadim has a secret: he is a bacha posh – a girl raised as a boy in Afghan culture. Nadim dreams to flee and fight for her freedom. Qais was enlisted to compose an original piece of music for the film reflecting the nature and sentiment of the film, entitled “This Sky Belongs to Us”.
